Who We Are
Amy Sommer, APRN
Owner & Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Amy graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2013 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She started her nursing career working as an RN on the pediatric hematology/oncology unit. This is where her love for pediatrics and relational/family centered care began. She then obtained her Master's of Science in Nursing degree, with a focus in Pediatric Primary Care in 2017. Amy has experience working in pediatric primary care and developmental pediatrics.
Amy enjoys staying active. She loves hiking, CrossFit, and sports. Amy grew up traveling the country playing basketball and will take on anyone in a free throw competition. She has hiked Rim to Rim of the Grand Canyon and even took on one of the deadliest hikes at Zion National Park, Angels Landing. She has a fur child (a golden retriever) named Brooks. Amy loves spending time with her family and going to her three nieces' activities.
Lauryn Christy

Hi, I’m Nurse Lauryn! I graduated from Tulsa Tech with my LPN degree and worked as a pediatric nurse in Dallas after completing the program. I am passionate about providing patient-centered care, as well as helping children feel safe and supported whenever they visit Cornerstone Pediatrics.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, board games, traveling, and loving on my dog. I’m also a proud aunt to my new nephew. I cannot wait to meet you!

Hi there, I'm Taylor! I have worn just about every management hat there is, and I feel incredibly lucky to serve at the front desk at Cornerstone Pediatrics.
I absolutely adore Amy, and am SO excited for this opportunity to be a part of the amazing Glenpool community!
I'm a proud momma to a 9-year-old boy and the exhausted CEO of a household run by 5 animals who pay zero rent & make all the rules - thankfully balanced out by a loving partner who helps me rein in the circus. I can't wait to learn, grow, and give this role my absolute ALL - coffee in hand, of course!

Hi! I'm Shannon. I will handle all referrals for Cornerstone Pediatrics. I've got 10 years experience in doing referrals for pediatric clinics. My favorite part of the job is getting to know the families we serve.
I've been married for 28 years and have 5 children & 10 grandchildren. In my spare time I love to travel, listen to music, crochet, and camp. When I'm not working you can catch me spending time with my grandkids!
